Ingredients

• 4 slices Sourdough or French bread
• 4 slices ham, good quality
• 6 to 8 oz Gruyere cheese, shredded
• 1 to 2 TBLS dijon mustard
• 4 TBLS butter
• 2 eggs, sunny-side up
• FOR THE BECHAMEL:
• 2 TBLS butter
• 2 TBLS flour
• 1 1/4 C heavy whipping cream (can substitute with whole milk)
• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• kosher salt/pepper
