• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
