Soft and Buttery Chewy Cookies - Yummy Gusto

Ingredients

• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (double it if you're really into cinnamon)
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 and 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
• 2 cups (250g) plain flour, loosely scooped and leveled
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 and 1/4 cups (250g) brown sugar, packed tightly (either light or dark!)
• 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted and not-too-hot
• 2 teaspoons pure vanilla
• 1 large egg, should be at room temp
• 1/3 cup (67g) white sugar for rolling the dough balls
