• 3 sweet potatoes
• 16 button (white) mushrooms
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 cup wild Rice
• 3 cups chicken broth
• 2 cups water
• 1 tsp dried savory
• 2 bay leaf
• 3 tbsp butter, unsalted
• 1/4 cup white flour (all purpose)
• 1 1/2 cup milk, partly skimmed, 2%
• ground pepper to taste
• 1/2 cup flaked almonds
