Fruity, sweet, tart, and buttery - that describes these out of this world crumbs bars. These can be made with fresh or frozen blueberries, however the small wild variety from Maine are my favorite....
Ingredients
- 3.0 whole butter
- 1.0 cup sugar
- 3.0 tablespoon confectioners sugar
- 2.0 whole egg yolk
- 1.0 teaspoon vanilla
- 1.25 cups flour
- 1.5 cups cake flour
- 0.75 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.75 teaspoon salt
- 4.0 cups blueberry
- 4.0 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1.0 whole juice
- 2.0 teaspoons sumac
