• 4 slices of bacon, chopped
• 2 tsp minced garlic
• 1 small yellow onion, chopped
• 4 red potatoes, cut into bite sized pieces
• 4 cups vegetable stock
• 1 tsp dried thyme
• 3/4 cup heavy cream
• 3 Tbl flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• Fresh parsley, chopped
• Pinch of cayenne
