• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
• 1 cup superfine sugar
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 cup whole milk
• 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract
