Mushroom Gruyere Mac and Cheese Bake – Fustini's Oils & Vinegars
This is a comforting pasta dish with a lighter side. Most mushrooms and short pasta will work here, but don't skimp on the freshly grated cheese!
Ingredients
- 1 lb short pasta
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 ½ cups freshly grated Gruyère cheese
- 3 tablespoons Sage and Wild Mushroom olive oil, divided
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Rub spice blend
- ½ teaspoon dried tarragon
- 1 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated black pepper
