- 1/2 pound slab bacon (skin removed)
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup lager-style beer
- 3/4 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 sprigs of thyme
- 1 pineapple
- 1/2 cup bacon fat (from about 1 pound of bacon)
- 1/2 cup raw peanuts
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked salt
