Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Shallots, raw (peeled and left whole)
  • 1 large White or yellow onions (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 medium (about l2 ounces) Leeks (cleaned and sliced crosswise)
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1/8 tsp., ground Dried tarragon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 to taste Black pepper
  • 1 15 ounce can Canned no salt added white beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 8 large Green onions (sliced thinly crosswise)
  • 6 Tbsp Chives, raw (sliced crosswise)
