French Vinaigrette - FINITE FOODIE
Easy and inexpensive French Vinaigrette using Dijon mustard and sherry vinegar. Perfect for salads or sandwiches. Serve like the French do!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon shallot (minced)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar ((preferably sherry))
- 1-2 pinches salt
- 1-2 pinches black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise ((optional))
- 2-3 tablespoons oil ((EVOO or similar))
- 2 teaspoons fresh herbs ((chives, tarragon, dill, parsley, chervil or cilantro))
