Ingredients

• 1 Large Ham Bone (Leave some meat on the bone for soup.)
• 2 Cup onions (Chopped )
• 1 Cup Carrots (Chopped )
• 1 Cup Celery (Chopped )
• 1 Small bay leaf
• 1/2 Teaspoon thyme
• 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper (Ground )
• 1/4 Teaspoon hot pepper flakes
• 2 Teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 1 Pound Great northern beans (Sorted and wasted )
• 6 Cups chicken stock
