• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1 16-ounce can pinto beans
• 2 15-ounce cans tomatoes, diced, undrained
• 1/2 cup water
• 2 teaspoons chili powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
