- 1 extra virgin olive oil
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 whole garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 tsp crushed chilli flakes
- 100g tomato paste
- 50ml vodka
- 150ml vegan cream
- 1-2 tsp nutritional yeast
- 75ml-100ml pasta water
- a squeeze lemon juice
- to taste salt and freshly cracked pepper
- 150g dried anneli pasta
- 2-4 slices of sourdough
- 1 tsp butter
- to serve vegan parmesan/nutritional yeast
- a few basil leaves
