Dap's Crispy Chicken and Waffles – Shawhan Farms

Ingredients

• 2 pounds chicken, cut into pieces
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup all purpose flour
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp seasoned salt + pepper
• 2 tsp Dap’s Blackened Seasoning
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 3-4 drops of hot sauce (or to taste)
• 2 cups waffle mix
• 1 + 1/4 cup water
• roughly 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
• 2 tbsp butter, for topping
