Ingredients

• 2 yellow onions, thinly sliced
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 sheet of refrigerated deep-dish pie crust
• 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
• 8 large eggs
• 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, half-and-half or whole milk
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
• 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
