Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups Navy beans, soaked and drained
• 5 garlic cloves
• 10 sage leaves
• 2 bay leaves
• 3 tbsps olive oil
• 1 head of garlic, remove outermost papery husk
• salt and freshly milled pepper
• juice of 1-3 lemons
• 1 tbsp chopped thyme
