Coronation Sausage Rolls –

Ingredients

• 350g good quality sausagemeat
• 1 tbsp pickle
• 1 tbsp freshly chopped sage leaves
• Salt and pepper
• 1 x 320g ready rolled puff pastry, at room temperature
• 1 egg, beaten
• 12oz good quality sausagemeat
• Step 1 In a medium bowl, mix sausagemeat, pickle, sage and season to taste.
• Step 2 Unroll pastry and cut in half lengthways.
• Step 3 Divide sausagemeat in two and roll into a long sausage shape.
• Step 6 Serve hot or cold.
