• kosher salt and ground black pepper
• 1-1/2 tsp cane sugar divided
• 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
• 1/2 cup slivered almonds
• 1 oz (without rind) Parmesan cheese, cut into rough 1 inch pieces, plus finely chopped grated parmesan to serve
• 1/3 cup Trattore Farms Meyer Lemon Olive Oil ((plus more to serve))
• 1 lb spaghetti
