Ingredients

• 4 Chinese dried mushrooms
• ¼ cup dried black cloud ears or wood ears
• ¼ pound (1 square) firm tofu
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 3 tablespoons white vinegar
• 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
• 1 quart chicken broth
• 1 cup shredded bamboo shoots
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 tablespoon sesame oil
• 2 teaspoons chili oil
• 3 tablespoons chopped green onions
