Pesach Cake, Spice Nut

Ingredients

• 2 cups matzo meal
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon KLP baking powder
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
• 1/2 cup other nuts, chopped (this year I used some almonds that I had on hand)
• 6 large eggs
• Oil for frying
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup water (with 1 tablespoon cinnamon)
