• 1 pound(s) sweet italian sausage links, casings removed and crumbled
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) crushed red pepper flakes
• 1/2 cup(s) diced red onion
• 4 clove(s) garlic, minced
• 1 cup(s) sliced mushrooms
• 1 tablespoon(s) butter
• 1 - 28 oz can of diced tomatoes, drained
• 1 1/2 cup(s) heavy whipping cream or you can use half and half( i used heavy cream)
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
• 1 teaspoon(s) black pepper
• 1 teaspoon(s) italian seasoning
• 1/2 cup(s) shredded parmesan cheese
• - shredded parmesan for topping
• - parsley, fresh or dried for sprinkling
