• 400 g (14 oz) canned white beans (drained weight: approx. 250 g / 9 oz)
• 1 onion
• 1 tsp chili flakes
• 1 lemon
• pepper
• vegetable oil for frying
• For the crispy panko topping:
• 50 g (2 oz) panko breadcrumbs (or classic breadcrumbs)
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 2 garlic cloves

• 100 g (3.5 oz) (half) sun-dried onions in oil
