• 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
• 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
• 4 Tbl. basil, finely chopped
• 4 Tbl. Worcestershire
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
• 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped and toasted
• 6 slices cheddar cheese
• 6 good quality seeded buns
• 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
• vegetable oil, for grill butter, softened
