Ingredients

• 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
• 1 tbsp (15ml) cornstarch
• 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) salt
• 1/4 tsp (1.25ml) black pepper
• 1/4 cup (60ml) honey
• 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
• 2 tbsp (30ml) rice vinegar
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp (15ml) sesame oil
• 1 tsp (5ml) ginger, grated (fresh is best!)
• 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
• 1 tbsp (15ml) water mixed with 1 tsp (5ml) cornstarch (slurry)
• 1 green onion, thinly sliced, for garnish (optional)
• Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
