• 6 egg yolks
• 1 cup (250 mL) maple syrup (preferably dark amber)
• Cookies
• 3/4 cup (180 mL) butter softened
• 1 cup (250 mL) packed light brown sugar or sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 tsp (2 mL) maple extract
• 2 1/2 cups (625 mL) all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp (2 mL) baking powder
