  • Symptom alleviators (soda crackers, plain popcorn, hard pretzels, plain pita chips, melba toast, white bread, soda (particularly ginger ale and lemon-lime varieties))
  • Canned goods (tuna, wild salmon, soups, tomatoes processed without any additives, water-packed fruits)
  • Cereal grains (oats (rolled and steel cut), oat bran, wheat germ, plain hot wheat cereals like Cream of Wheat)
  • Dried fruits (apricots, blueberries, cranberries, figs, mangoes, prunes (unsulphured versions preferred))
  • Dried herbs, spices, and salt (sea salt and pink salt like Himalayan are best)
  • Flour (whole wheat and unbleached white flour, with whole-wheat flour combined with some white flour for baking until used to the taste of whole-wheat flour)
  • Garlic and onions (any types, store onions separate from potatoes)
