Black Chocolate Zinger Recipe

Ingredients

• ¾ cups Water
• 1 tablespoon Instant coffee granules
• 6 oz Unsweetened chocolate, Coarsely chopped
• 3 tablespoons Honey
• 2 cups Sifted unbleached All-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon Baking soda
• ¼ teaspoon Salt
• 2 teaspoons Freshly ground Black pepper
• 8 tablespoon (1 stick) unsalted butter, Softened & cut into 1"piece
• ¼ cups Solid vegetable shortening
• 2 cups Superfine granulated sugar
• 4 lg Eggs, at room temperature
• 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
• ½ cups Ice water
