• 4 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 ½ cups flour
• 1 cup nuts (optional)

• 1 pound powdered sugar
• ¼ cup butter (softened)
• 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
• ¼ cup hot water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
