Ingredients

• ½ cup (105 g) sugar, plus more for sprinkling
• 3 tbsp cornstarch
• ½ tsp ground cinnamon
• 2 ½ cups (625 ml) unsweetened applesauce
• 3 to 4 red apples, peeled, halved, cored and thinly sliced
• 2 cups (280 g) frozen raspberries
• 1 recipe yogurt shortcrust pastry, divided into 2 discs
• 1 egg
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) water
• Icing sugar, for serving (optional)
