Creamy Potato Soup - Rachel Tritsch

Ingredients

• 7 slices of bacon, chopped into small pieces
• 1/2 white onion, diced
• 3 tbs butter
• 3 tbs minced garlic
• 1/3 cup all purpose flour
• 2 1/2 to 3lb gold potatoes, peeled and chopped into approx 1 inch pieces
• 2 cups milk
• 4 cups chicken broth
• 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
• 2 tsp salt
• 2 tsp pepper
• 1/2 tsp chili powder
• 1/2 cup sour cream
