Kielbasa-Chickpea Stew

Ingredients

• 2 15oz Cans Chickpeas drain and rinse
• 2 medium Carrots peeled and chopped
• 2 ribs Celery chopped
• 1 medium Onion chopped
• 1 medium Sweet Red Pepper seeded and diced
• 1 medium Green pepper seeded and diced
• 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
• 1/2 teaspoon Dried basil
• 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
• 1 pound Polish Sausage cubed
• 2 1/2 cups Beef broth
• 8 ounces Plain hummus
• 6 ounces Tomato paste
• 1/2 teaspoon Salt
