Ingredients

• SNICKERDOODLES
• 1 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 3/4 cups sifted flour
• 2 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 Tbsp sugar
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• Gradually add sugar to shortening, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla. Resift sifted flour, add cream of tartar, baking soda
• and salt. Combine the flour mix with the shortening mix. Chill for 1/2 hour. Shape dough into walnut size balls and roll in mixture
• 2 Tbsp sugar plus
• 2 tsp cinnamon. Place on ungreased sheet
• 400 F for 7-8 min
