• 1 can (10 ounces) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
• 1 packet taco seasoning
• 8 ounces sour cream
• 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese , divided
• 1 bag (9 ounces) tortilla chips , slightly crushed
• 1/2 cup green onions , sliced thin (for garnish)
