Ingredients

• 1 small onion finely chopped
• for frying sunflower oil
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• 1 tsp ground cumin
• 1 tsp paprika
• 500g minced beef
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 egg lightly beaten
• 4 sesame burger buns
• to serve iceberg lettuce
• 1 beefsteak tomato sliced
• sliced gherkins to serve
• 1 onion sliced
• to serve tomato ketchup or relish
• 6 tbsp mayonnaise
• 1 fat clove garlic crushed
• a small bunch flat leaf parsley chopped
• a small bunch dill chopped
• a large pinch (optional) onion powder
• a couple of good squeezes lemon juice
