Detroit Style Pizza Recipe by Brian Lagerstrom
I have made this pizza just about every Friday for over a year. We use a sourdough recipe from a starter a few years back. I also recommend getting a LloydPan to cook it in.
Ingredients
- 2g or 1 tsp rapid rise yeast
- 2 1/3 c bread flour
- 6 tbsp oil
- 28oz crushed tomato
- 3 TBSP tomato paste
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/3 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp chili flake
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
