Easter Egg Cake

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup of coconut oil (plus extra for greasing the pans)
• 2 cups of all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting the pans)
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
• 4 ounces of unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
• 1 1/4 cups of hot water
• 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 cups of granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 5 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
• 5 sticks of unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
• 5 cups of confectioners sugar
• 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract
• 3 tablespoons of whole milk
• Coarse sugar, nonpareils, and candy-coated chocolates for decoration
