We are recreating the classic Steak & Ale Pie using meaty mushrooms instead. The pie filling is packed with delicious umami flavours coming from the marmite, you won’t even miss the meat!

- 300g mushroom
- 2 red onion
- 2 garlic clove
- 1 carrot
- 1tbsp plain flour
- 1tbsp dried thyme
- 2sprigs rosemary
- 2tbsp tomato purée
- 1tbsp soy sauce
- 1tbsp Marmite
- 200ml Ale beer
- 10g dried mushrooms
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- 1 Ready rolled shortcrust pastry
- 1 egg
- 1tbsp maple syrup
