Ingredients

• 4 shallots, chopped
• 4 garlic cloves, chopped
• 2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
• 1 cup (80 g) panko breadcrumbs
• 1 cup (250 ml) milk
• 2 eggs
• 3 lb (1.4 kg) lean ground pork
• 1/2 cup (35 g) fresh Parmesan cheese, finely grated
• 2 tsp garam masala
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp cornstarch
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) chicken broth
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) 35% cream
• 1 lb (450 g) white mushrooms, cut into thick slices
• 8 green onions, cut into pieces 3/4 inch (2 cm) long
• 1 shallot, thinly sliced
• 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
• 2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
