Nici Wickes would not deign to improve on the original South Island cheese roll, but these wee beauties are a bit more posh!
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoon butter, melted
- 50 gram Countdown blue vein
- 1/2 cup gruyère or gouda
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 3 tablespoon store-bought caramelised onion relish
- 1/4 cup Countdown walnut pieces, toasted
