Cornbread (adapted From grandmother’s Buttermilk cornbread-A | Umami

Ingredients

• Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup buttermilk (I mix about 3/4 c milk and 1/4 c sour cream together too make this, since I never buy buttermilk)
• 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup cornmeal
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
