• 7 cups all-purpose flour (omit baking soda and salt if using self-rising flour)
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 teaspoons ground ginger
• 1 teaspoon ground allspice
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
