• ⅓ LB ofbacon (pork) - Diced
• 2 TBSP ofunsalted butter
• 1onion - peeled and diced (medium size)

• 5 cloves ofgarlic - peeled and minced
• 4 cups ofsweet corn - fresh
• 5 TBSP ofall-purpose flour
• ½dry white wine
• 5 cups ofchicken stock (preferably low sodium)
• 1 TSP ofground smoked paprika
• 1 TSP ofdried thyme
• 2 PCS ofdried bay leaf
• 1 ½ cups ofheavy cream
• 1 ½ LB ofYukon gold potatoes - peeled and diced (preferably ½ in cubes)
• kosher salt (adjust if needed, to taste)
• 1 TSP ofblack pepper
• scallions (green onions) - finely sliced
• bacon (pork) - sautéed
