• 3 tablespoons lukewarm water
• 1 1/2 cups (355 ml) whole milk
• 3 tablespoons butter, cut into chunks
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 4 1/2 cups (630 g) flour, plus more if needed
