  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 -2 teaspoon gingerroot, peeled and grated, to taste
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 -3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
