Slow Cooker Hearty Beef Stew | Swanson® Recipes

Ingredients

• 1 1/2  pounds beef for stew, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1/4 cup all purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 3 cups  medium white potato, cut into cubes (about 1 pound)
• 4  medium carrot, peeled and sliced (about 2 cups)
• 2  medium onion, cut into wedges
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 3 1/4 cups Swanson® Beef Broth or Beef Stock
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 cup  thawed frozen peas
