- Pinch of curry powder
- 6 cups water
- 1 cup Carolina, or long grain, rice
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
