Ingredients

• 1/2 lb. crystallized cherries, cut in halves
• 1/2 lb. crystallized fruit
• 1/2 lb. crystallized pineapple, cut up well
• 1 lb. white raisins
• 1 c. cooking sherry
• 1/2 lb. walnuts, cut up
• 1/2 lb. pecans, cut up
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 Tbsp. buttermilk
• 3 c. plain flour
• 1 tsp. cloves
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 3 eggs
• 1 c. sugar
• 2/3 c. melted butter
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 Tbsp. vanilla
