Ingredients

• 225 ml whole milk
• 2 tbsp golden syrup
• 80 g unsalted butter
• 450 g strong white flour
• 7 g fast-action dried yeast or 15g fresh yeast
• 2 tsp mixed spice
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 zest orange finely grated
• 1 tbsp finely ground coffee
• 1 tbsp cocoa powder
• Double espresso topped with 100 ml of water
• 130 g mixed dried fruit
• 150 g marzipan
• 1-2 tbsp water
• 1 Egg
