- 9 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1½ cups brown sugar
- ¾ tsp cinnamon powder
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp nutmeg ((freshly ground))
- ⅓ cup water
- 1½ tsp vanilla extract
- 6 apples ((3 Pink Lady & 3 Granny Smith))
- 1½ Tbsp lemon juice
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 double-crust pie dough
